Hummus & Veggies Bagel Sandwich

Nice weather is an invitation to appreciate nature with all your senses. Taking in the fresh sights, sounds, and smells is enough to work up a healthy appetite. Satisfy your stomach before, during, or after your hike with this fresh-tasting, easily portable Hummus & Veggies Bagel Sandwich. For portability, pack the hummus in a small, sealable container, separate from the veggies and bread. A good sandwich packing hack is to layer your toppings into a container in order of top ingredient to bottom. When ready to eat, flip the contents of the container onto the bread for a quick and easy meal. No soggy sandwiches!

Pizza Picnic in the Park
Grilled Gluten-free Three-Cheese Pizza

Gluten-free Three Cheese Pizza Recipe - Make it Margherita-style at Home!

Our Gluten-free Three Cheese Pizza recipe has everything there is to love about a classic three-cheese pizza… minus the gluten and dairy so everyone can enjoy it. This dish is perfect for beach barbecues and park picnics where you have access to a grill. All you need is Little Northern Bakehouse Gluten-Free Pizza Crust and your favourite toppings to get started.

Preheat the grill for high heat and while it heats up brush one side of pizza crust with olive oil and place it on the grill oil side down. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the bottom of the crust starts to crisp. Move crust over to indirect heat, brush the top with olive oil, and flip it. Then, add pizza sauce followed by your choice of toppings and vegan cheese. Close the lid and cook for another 5 or 6 minutes. Carefully remove from heat and cut into portions. If you don’t have access to a grill don’t worry! Make it in your oven at home ahead of time and pack it to go!
